Every idea on CosmopolitiGAL is heard twice, every claim is sorted by how well it is known, and you should know how the show is put together.
I think with a consciousness-first working model: consciousness is more than the brain, each of us is an individual expression of something larger, and the natural state between conscious beings is relationship rather than domination. I don't present it as neutral.
Every question is also put to the strongest model that disagrees: the naturalist view that consciousness is what brains do, that the self is a biological fact, and that contact would be contact between evolved organisms. On several questions, that model currently has the stronger evidence. When it does, I say so.
These are not the only two positions. They are the two that disagree most sharply about contact, which is why they frame the show.
Most confusion in this field comes from a claim moving silently from one category to another: a report becomes a fact because it has been repeated, a hypothesis becomes knowledge because it is beautiful. On the show, claims are placed in one of five categories.
None of these is an insult. Imagination is where every discovery starts. The point is to know which one you are holding.
I use AI as a research and production assistant. Claude, made by Anthropic, helps me structure and draft scripts, check sources and facts, and prepare show notes, visuals and this website. Descript's AI tools help with editing.
Two parts of each episode are AI-generated, and you should know which. The narration is produced with an AI model of my own voice, reading scripts I have written and approved. Some images and background scenes are AI-generated illustrations: they show ideas, not real events or real evidence.
The ideas, the framework and the final judgment are mine. I decide what goes in, I review every script, and I take responsibility for every claim made on the show.
On a show about discernment and non-human intelligence, it would be wrong not to tell you. It is also a fair test of the method: an intelligence that knows a great deal is still checked, not trusted by default.
